Higher tier papers will assess the content domains in these proportions:

Number- 15%     Ratio and Proportion 25%       Algebra 30%      Statistics and probability 15%     Geometry and measures 20%

 

Foundation tier follows 3 assessment objectives in the following weighting:

25% is A01 – A01 is about using and applying standard techniques.

25% is A02 – A02 is about reasoning, interpreting and communicating mathematically.

50% is A03 – A03 is about solving problems with a much greater focus on solving non-routine problems in mathematical and non-mathematical concepts.
