Welcome back

In this new and final term of the academic year, we are trialling the new timetable where the children will be challenged to show great independence. For the children not attending a club on a specific day, they will have the freedom to choose their activity and get on with it. Staff will be all around the school to help and guide the children, be it in the library, in their classroom, or somewhere else. There will always be something on offer with three members of staff based in their classroom for anyone wishing to get on with their homework.

The paid clubs started today. Clubs offered for free by staff will start next week. Communications regarding places for free clubs will be sent to you by the end of tomorrow. In most cases, everybody has a place. With a massive 39 putting their name down for photography, you will appreciate that it is not possible for all to take part. The club form is again now open should you wish to add other clubs. In the first instance it will be for interest and may mean your child is on a waiting list. We try to be fair and improve systems as we learn from our mistakes. Please be patient whilst we try to accommodate all.

Should your child like to learn an instrument, interest can be expressed at by clicking here. The school do not run the music tuition – we solely signpost you to a provider that use the school premises. For any queries regarding music tuition, please contact the provider directly who will know the answers to your questions.

Many thanks for your time in reading this letter and I trust we will have a very successful summer term.

Yours sincerely

Mr Kite
