Welcome to Foundation 2 at Krishna Avanti Primary School.

This page is specifically for our parents with children joining us in Foundation 2 at the end of August.

Please see below various letters, reminders, dates and other useful information.

Foundation Two Welcome Informatio

Your child will need the following for their first day at school (all clearly labelled)

  • School coat which is warm and waterproof (we have outdoor learning in all weather – rain or shine)
  • Wellington boots
  • Plimsolls
  • School logo Book bag or rucksack (no draw string bags)
  • Water bottle with a sports cap – provided by school on their first day

Your child will also need a PE kit (from October) which they wear to school on days confirmed for physical education.

P.E Kit items

  • House coloured logo t-shirt
  • Navy jogging bottoms
  • Navy fleece/sweat top. No hoodies please
  • Socks (not tights, as children may need to be bare footed)
  • Trainers – no laces unless your child can tie them

Children are not allowed to wear earrings, necklaces or bracelets for physical education. Please remove these before your child starts school.

Nail polish is also not allowed.

Finally,  please ensure that all items are clearly labelled with name tags or a permanent marker, not in biro pen.

Other reminders:

  • Register with Coolmilk to ensure that your child receives milk
  • Register for the school Twitter account – @KrishnaAvantiPS
  • Arriving on time/collecting on time
  • Encourage independence-child to hold book bag etc…
