The UK’s former Prime Minister David Cameron hosted his third annual Diwali celebration at 10 Downing Street, inviting professionals, organisations and religious representatives from across the Hindu community.
In addition, students from Krishna Avanti Primary School and Avanti House Secondary School in Harrow were asked to entertain guests with traditional Lord Rama-inspired music and singing. Also in attendance was Avanti friend Shrutidharma Das, who presided over ceremonial proceedings and prayers.
