The links above have fantastic ideas for a variety of texts which I’m sure your children will engage with. These will not only expand their exposure to various genres and vocabulary but will also spark or further ignite their love for reading.

  1. Writing for different purposes

Although the children will be provided with some creative writing homework on Thursday for the Easter holidays, I have also added a link where you may want your children to write competively. This will give them a real sense of purpose and engagement. We hope to run some of these competitions in school in the Summer term also.
