We have had a great first week back at school after half term and we are really excited to be welcoming the children back on Monday 8th March. All children are required to return with absence only authorised as per the usual policies. The Risk Assessment and procedures have been updated and will continue to be updated on the website and reviewed weekly. Click here to visit the Learning Online page and all Risk Assessments and procedures.

Remote Learning Support and Critical Worker Bookings

Bookings for the last week of Critical Workers are still required and our support will continue for all areas possible. I would like to say a huge thank you to you all for managing through these difficult times.

Lunch bookings for those children in school next week should have been made already and for everybody the week after I’m going forward, the deadline will revert to 7 o’clock on the Thursday morning.

Returning – Monday 8th March

Prior to us going into lockdown we sent a communication about the staggered end to the day. This staggered end will take effect from the 8th March with the Foundation 2, Year 1 and Year 2 children finishing the day at 14:15.  This will support the still required social distancing with Key Stage Two children leaving school at 14:45.

We will be monitoring how long it takes for our younger children and parents to leave and if this is achieved in less than the 30 minute stagger,  we will review the times so that Foundation Two and Key Stage One leave slightly later – We will send a communication out early next week purely on the return of all of the children.

Extra-Curricular Activities

The clubs timetable is on the website and the booking form will go live again later tonight. If you’ve already made bookings for this term they will stand. Mr Jackson’s clubs will be free – we appreciate the difficulties of Covid may have impacted many parents financially. If however you have not been affected, please do make a contribution. We plan for all clubs to start on the first Monday back.
