Applying for a place

Whilst we are a DfE designated Hindu Faith School, Avanti House actually has no faith criteria for entry and we warmly welcome applications from students of all faiths and none. This policy is also reflected in the appointment of teaching and support staff.

In the event of receiving more applications than there are places (180 in Year 7 and 60 in reception), please refer to the Admissions Policy for oversubscription criteria.

For the academic year 2016/17, applications for Year seven must be received by October 31st 2016[Applications to join the Reception year must be received by January 15th 2017]. Confirmed offers of a place will be sent out for secondary in early March 2017 and for primary in April 2017.

Our latest admissions policy for 2016/17 is available as a PDF for you to view and download. If you are considering submitting an application, please read this document first. If you are considering an in-year application (for 2016–2017) the 2016/17 policy applies.

Avanti House (Secondary) Open Evening

Wednesday 21st September 2016
6:00pm – 8:30pm[Doors open 5:45pm] This event will offer parents and year 6 pupils the chance to meet and to talk with staff and current students at Avanti House School (Secondary Phase).

There will be a formal presentation by the Principal, Mr. Mark Bennison at 6.00pm, 6.40pm, 7.20pm and 8:00pm. Before and after this, you have the opportunity to meet staff and students in classrooms.

The current site that you will visit on Beaulieu Drive Pinner (the former Heathfield School site) is an excellent facility but a temporary one for us, for two years.

There is no parking for the public on the former Heathfield site where we are currently based and interest in this new and unique school is very high. We advise you, if you can, to car-share, use public transport/taxi and/or to park off-site without blocking the drives of our neighbours. There is a lot of unrestricted parking in the area and Rayners Lane underground is a 10-15 minute walk from the school. At the very least, anticipating, like last year, a very large number of visitors, we suggest that you time your arrival to coincide with one of the presentations.

Additionally or alternatively, you may also wish to attend one of our Open Mornings (Only by appointment): 9:30 am and 11:00 am

Monday 26th September

Tuesday 27th September

Wednesday 28th September

Thursday 29th September
