On behalf of Avanti Gardens School, staff and pupils it is a pleasure to warmly welcome you to our pre-school.

These core values resonate within our school ethos and are evident in our wide, rigorous and unique curriculum. We follow the National Curriculum however it is enriched through our holistic approach.
This means our children are confident individuals who become fluent readers, writers and mathematicians. However, well-being and mindfulness is fundamental therefore yoga sessions form part of the timetable as well as sports – after all a happy child is one that will flourish and learn!

Our current run of admissions is for 3–4-year-olds to begin pre-school in September 2025. We accept 15 and 30-hour childcare vouchers with an option to self-fund additional 15 hours.
Admissions
Admissions are done based on the oversubscription criteria, which can be found in our Admissions policy. Therefore, applications will not be considered by the date of the application, but all parents will be informed of the admission by the deadline indicated below.

Pre-School Open Days & Group Tours
We are so excited to welcome you to visit our new pre-school, opening September 2025! This is a group tour designed for parents to view the school and enjoy what it has to offer.
Schedule
Pre-school sessions are:
Morning Session (8.30am – 11.30am)
Afternoon Session (12.30pm – 3.30pm)
Full day (8.30am – 3.30pm)
Our pre-school is open for 37 weeks a year, following the term dates of Avanti Gardens Primary School. We also offer an optional additional week of care during the October half term.


Lunch & Snacks
Morning or afternoon snack is included in the price of the session. Children who attend pre-school for full days will be required to pay for school lunches at the time of booking.
All of our snacks and lunches are vegetarian or vegan and in line with our ethos. We are a nut and sesame free school, and we cater to a variety of dietary requirements and food allergies. More information on school meals can be found here.
We will not be able to accommodate packed lunches for pre-school.
Fees and Funded Hours
Morning Session – £18.00 per day
Afternoon Session – £18.00 per day
Full day – £36.00 + £5.00 lunch = £41.00 per day
If you are entitled to government funding, you can access 15 or 30 hours of free childcare per week for 38 weeks a year. As Avanti Gardens primary school term is 37 weeks, you can either use an additional, 38th week, of pre-school during October half term, or use the hours during term time in addition to the regular entitlement (for 15-hour entitlement only).
Childcare vouchers for 15 hours can be spread out across the week, e.g. all morning or all afternoons, or can be taken as full days.
