Students can be in school from 8:00am until 5:00pm.
The school week is organised into 29 fifty-minute lessons; six lessons a day, except Wednesday where there are five lessons due to the school’s early finish. The school day also incorporates registration time at the start and end of the day. Our Co-Curriculum clubs programme runs between 3.50pm to 4.50pm everyday (except Wednesdays)
The school building is open to students from 8.00am to 5.00pm every day for lessons, library work and community activities. Please see the full Co-Curricular timetable for an example of the types and range of activities and clubs that we offer at Avanti Grange. Clubs Autumn 2023-2024.
Students should arrive on campus by 8.25am each morning. Breakfast is available every day in the school dining hall from 8.00 until 8.30am.
Students have an Extended Leadership Team assembly every week plus one year group assembly every fortnight. The school library is staffed until 4.50pm every day (except Wednesday when the library closes at 2.30pm) and students may work there until that time. After 4.50pm any student who is being collected by their parents must wait in reception. The school cannot accept responsibility for students after 5.00pm, unless they are taking part in a supervised sport, drama, music, dance or curriculum activity.
