CONSCIOUS CHANGEMAKERS

Students are encouraged to lead on social-action projects, from developing environmental initiatives to local community projects, these efforts are owned and shaped by young people’s needs, ideas and decision making. Teachers are able to see the increase in confidence and citizenship that students gain from the responsibility of working in teams for a higher purpose. In previous years pupils have run campaigns, fundraising for local charities, developed sensory, sustainable gardens and supported their local community.

YOGA & MINDFULNESS

Every student has access to Yoga and Mindfulness sessions ranging from 20 minutes to 1 hour a week. Yoga and Mindfulness help ground students, relieve stress and improve their overall health and wellbeing. Learning these skills from a young age allow pupils to practise it day-in-day-out as they grow up. We often hear of stories were pupils have felt stressed or overwhelmed outside of school and came and told their teachers they did breathing exercises or yoga postures to calm down and recalibrate!
