2015: Performance at Wembley Stadium
Children from Krishna Avanti Primary School in Harrow were invited to perform a cultural piece for the historic ‘Namaste Wembley’ event at Wembley Stadium! The event was to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was hosted by the UK’s former Prime Minister David Cameron. The students got the opportunity to meet both Prime Ministers and receive their congratulations!
2016: KAPS Croydon
The first Hindu state school was opened in 2016, south of the Thames. It features top educational standards, an eco-friendly awareness, a healthy vegetarian lifestyle and Yoga and mindfulness.

The Queen visits Krishna Avanti Primary School
The Queen and Prince Phillip visited Krishna Avanti Primary School in Harrow which played host to her Majesty’s Jubilee celebrations in March 2012. 60,000 people gathered in Wembley Stadium to welcome India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his first visit since his inauguration. 'Namaste Wembley!' was a cultural epic which featured many British-Indian artists and performers, one of which were students of Krishna Avanti Primary School!
