Avanti Fields School, the new all-through Hindu school opened in Leicester in September 2018 has appointed Vanessa Bardsley as Principal from the 2022-23 academic year. Building on the success of its sister primary school, Krishna Avanti, the all-through school provides much needed secondary capacity in the City.
In September 2021 the school moved to it’s permanent site, a part of the Manor Farm site in Thurmaston Lane, Hamilton, where a brand new, state-of-the-art school has been built to educate over 1300 pupils aged 3-16 and provide a high quality hub for the wider community.
The Avanti Schools Trust currently run a family of 13 schools in London, the Midlands and the South-West which are built upon the pillars of Educational Excellence, Character Formation and Spiritual Insight. The schools, including Krishna Avanti Primary in Leicester, have all received “good” Ofsted ratings and have been commended for outstanding behaviour and spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC) provision. Recent GCSE results from Avanti House Secondary School (Harrow) have placed the school significantly above local and national benchmarks across the broad curriculum offered. This template of success has been brought to Avanti Fields in Leicester where students are currently preparing for their first set of GCSE examinations in 2022-23.
