Children and parents of Avanti House Primary School worked incredibly hard to collect and put together an enormous collection of food items. School council members wanted to follow this initiative because they felt very passionately about supporting those in need. Red Nose Day and Downs Syndrome Awareness was celebrated in style!
School Council members have written to their local MP, Councillor Hall, to celebrate their achievements as well as provide a piece for the local newspaper. They have received a letter for Councillor Hall and the article has been posted in iharrow.com, promoting the achievements of the school.
