The Long Term Plan gives the main headings of the ‘topics’ for each year group. The topic titles have been decided after whole school training and consideration of the National Curriculum.
A conscious decision has been made to avoid giving various topics set weeks/terms to allow for local, national and international events to be explored, as appropriate, as well as the tailoring of the learning to suit the personal needs and interests of the children.
From the Long Term Plan, each year group will share its ‘Topic Web’ and from that, plan weekly learning activities.
