Expectations
At Krishna Avanti School, we value the benefits of trips for your children, residential trips definitely included. For the safety of the group as whole and individual children and as staff we expect everyone to be responsible, cooperative, and maintain good behaviour.
The Vedanta
The Centre has extensive facilities. All bedrooms are en-suite, with 2-4 children sharing. A bedroom preference form will be available prior to the trip. We ensure all children have at least one friend with them. It is in the interest of staff to get the rooms right.
Itinerary
Varying outdoor and indoor adventurous and cultural activities.
Meals
Three meals per day, in line with the ethos of the school (full vegetarian).
Medication
Clearly labeled with name and instructions. A member of staff will look after and administer as required. No medical condition nor need will prevent a child from attending.
Pocket money
We would suggest children carry a small amount of cash – maximum of £10.
Communication
A member of staff on the trip will be checking in with the school each day so they have information of our whereabouts and welfare. Trip highlights will also be shared to parents via School website /google classroom.
Should you need to contact us in an emergency, call the school who will contact staff directly.
