It’s been a very busy week at Krishna Avanti Primary School with Science Week, Red Nose Day and Podcasting.
The children have been carrying out numerous experiments throughout the week and finished the week off on a high in more ways than one. The science behind paper aeroplanes was investigated as children made different types and tested them for airtime and distance – uplift, air resistance and paper weight, all to be considered.
Dressed in red and sporting various noses, the children moved about school on Friday with parents invited in to come and see, learn and enjoy the day either the children.
We also saw a group of children being introduced to podcasting and learning the record, edit and blend media to create what will some be the first of a regular episodes of a Krishna Avanti Primary School Podcast. Learning happens here in many ways.
