On Wednesday and Thursday the 12th and 13th of July the sun was hot and baking and KS1 and KS2 had their respective sports days. There were a variety of different sporting activities for us to take part in such as Lemon/Potato and Spoon race, Penalty Shootout, Shot Putt, Obstacle course, 60 m relay run, Hit the Wicket and many more. This time we all took part in our house teams: Fire, Water, Ether, Wind and Earth. The reigning champions from last year were Water but this year it was a different story because Fire blazed into victory with a difference of over 300 points between them and Ether who came second! It was a lot of fun with lots of parents cheering their children on. We in Y6 feel a bit sad as this is our last Sports Day at KAPS and we will miss the fun of older children working with younger children.
